Shailja Vaidya Gupta, Ph.D., is a distinguished scientist and policy strategist with over 27 years of experience in science governance and international diplomacy within the Government of India. She served as a Senior Adviser at the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, where she played a pivotal role in the national COVID-19 response as Member Secretary of the Vaccine Task Force and led the “Waste to Wealth” Mission. After that she served as the Chief Project Director for IndCEPI at the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), focusing on epidemic preparedness and global research partnerships. Her extensive background includes establishing bilateral collaborations with entities such as the Wellcome Trust, the Gates Foundation, and the European Union. Dr. Gupta holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the IIT Delhi, and is a prolific contributor to science policy discourse in mainstream media.

Aditya Vikram is an experienced investment professional and fund manager with over seven years of expertise in impact-oriented themes, specifically within the education and employment sectors. He previously served on the investment team at EduLab Capital Partners based in Boston and Tokyo, where he specialized in human capital technologies. Throughout his tenure, Aditya worked closely with founders developing technologies to improve the access, quality, and efficacy of education-based products to enhance learning and employment outcomes. Furthermore, during COVID-19, he collaborated with nonprofit organizations in U.S. borderplex regions to bridge the digital divide in access to learning and workforce technologies. Aditya holds an MS in Management from Boston University and a BA (Honours) in Economics from Delhi University.
